Emochi AI is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below that age, and any account identified as underage is closed and cleared.
Information you give us
This includes the email address used to create an account, any display name you choose, and the content of the messages you send to a companion.
Information collected automatically
Device type, browser, approximate region derived from your IP address, referring page and timestamps of visits are recorded to keep the service stable and secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
Emochi AI uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences and measure aggregate traffic. Non-essential cookies are only set with consent.
Conversation content
Messages are stored so a companion can remember your history. They are treated as private content and are never published, sold or used for public display.
Payment information
If you purchase anything, card details are handled by our payment provider. Emochi AI receives confirmation of the transaction, not your full card number.
Purposes of processing
We use information to operate the chat, maintain conversation memory, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve the quality of the service.
Legal grounds
Depending on where you live, processing rests on the performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interest in a secure service, or a legal obligation.

Companion replies are produced by automated language systems. No decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on you is made by those systems alone.

Hosting, email delivery, analytics and payment partners may process data on our behalf under written agreements that restrict what they may do with it.
